Vixen’s Forest
Commissioned and presented by the New York Philharmonicas part of The Cunning Little Vixen, produced by Giants Are Small, June 2011.
This “photo realist” soundscape, created entirely from the sounds of orchestral instruments, and incorporating melodic motives from Janacek’s opera as bird calls, greeted the audience as they entered Avery Fisher Hall prior to each performance of The Cunning Little Vixen.
