For a short time as I was transitioning to life in New York City, I ran a new music ensemble that was not specifically devoted to new opera.
While I was running it, we managed (among other things) to pull off one particularly excellent full season of concerts that focused on really big programs for really small performing forces. We also produced a program book for the entire season – a kind of festschrift to honor the storied ensemble I was now in the throes of running, as well as something to bring together the programs, conceptually.
For some reason or many others, this book, which we called The Renaissance is Now, has not been available except to those who attended our concerts…
As it turns out, PDF readers for wordpress are really old news and I could have done this two years ago.
C’est la vie digital.
Credits are at the end of the book. And yes, hard copies are still available. Just ask.
